Apostate

In Apostate, battle as a magical champion, created and trained by a cult of powerful wizards. After witnessing the devastation caused by this cult, you realize the true horrors of their magic. Choosing to run away, you are soon deemed an Apostate and must now escape their ever expanding grasp. Fighting your way through the monsters and demons of the cult, you must strategize and sharpen your magical abilities to gain your full potential and possibly freedom.

In this top down, action roguelite, choose from a vast selection of spells, augmentations, items, and stats to create your own unique custom hero every playthrough. Discover synergies and unlock builds as you compete against your foes. Choose from a wide variety of spells with different status effects and interactions. Augment your champions weapons and armor to change how your spells function. Through a variety of items and stat modifiers you can further customize how your magical hero performs. Combine all these choices to create a variety of different powerful builds.

Battle your way to freedom in either a solo or co-op campaign mode. As well as the ability to challenge others in a streamline pvp mode, where you can fight against the hordes of monsters and compete to see who can create the ultimate custom hero and escape. Watch out though, only one Apostate can make it out alive, and the others will do their best to stop you.
