Your day-to-day (starting now)

• Recruit – spot that League Two winger who’s quicker than Sonic yet couldn’t cross for toffee? flog him before the scouts cotton on!

• Bin the passengers – shred piss-taking contracts, trigger daft release clauses and sweet-talk Fleet Street with pure waffle.

• Grab the clipboard – go “4-4-2 Proper” or “3-4-3 Bonkers” and shout “Switch ittttttt!” like it’s Match of the Day ‘95.

• Spruce up the cow-field – alright, it’s just a green cell in your spreadsheet… but it’s your spreadsheet.

• Dodge the board – that monthly letter saying “Financial Results: X”? Ignore it! or pull some black-belt accountancy magic out your bum.

And if the league it serves up isn’t your cup of tea, bin it and roll a fresh one, up to 40 clubs, 2,500 players and four full divisions.
