LabRATory is a co-op puzzle-platformer where two scientists are turned into the creatures they’ve been studying - RATS!

Play as Edwin von Braun and Lila Redwood, each with their own unique abilities and a shared tail-connection mechanic. Use your tails, brains, and teamwork to solve physics-based puzzles and uncover the story behind the experiment gone wrong.

Local Co-Op

Team up with a friend as each of you controls one member of the duo. Every puzzle is designed with cooperation in mind - it takes two… tails to succeed!

No friend on the couch? Thanks to Steam Remote Play Together, you can still play together without sharing the same screen.

Connect Your Tails!

Tether to each other or latch onto the environment using your tails. Swing across gaps, move objects, or reach places you couldn’t reach alone!

Physics-Based Puzzles

Pull, drag, swing, jump, and interact with various contraptions throughout your journey. Work together to solve puzzles that rely on physics and teamwork.

A Tail of Escape

Piece together the story and uncover the secrets the lab has been hiding. Learn more about Edwin’s and Lila’s motivations as they journey through the facility and its many testing environments.

Exploring the Lab

Each section of the facility introduces its own testing environment or biome, complete with new mechanics, hazards, and strange characters to meet… or defeat.
