Time Bandit

Originally released in the early 1980s for 8-bit home computers, then later ported to 16-bit machines, this unique top-down shooter with text adventure elements saw players take on the role of a time traveller seeking wealth and adventure across a number of different eras of time. Now, relive those days in this remastered emulated version.

This is the version of the game originally published for the Commodore Amiga in 1988.

Gameplay

Travel through Timegates to one of a number of different lands, each with their own unique enemies, hazards, and game mechanics. Defend yourself with missiles, and collect treasure. Some areas contain text-adventure style riddles to answer.

Play with 1 or 2 players. Players can choose to work together, or against each other!


This enhanced version introduces a number of modern features to this retro classic, including:
