Cow Chess

Cow Chess feels nothing like a platformer, and nothing else plays like it. Expect a fun arcade experience, rounds can play out in seconds. Position smart, fire wildly.

We’ve refined the movement and combat systems through dozens of playtests, and we’re incredibly proud of where they are now.

🙋But how do I Cow Chess?

Here is a list of everything you need to know.

1. Only jumping (but also rolling)

Walk? Press in a direction, then move in that direction? Don’t be silly. Instead you launch yourself in any direction you want! This is how cows move in real life. 

2. Tongue-grappling

A simple recovery move at first. Use a cow's long tongue to swing on surfaces. Once you master it, it has plenty of other creative uses too.

3. Fire artillery

Old games are better, so we stole mechanics from our childhood. Fire rockets with an arcing curve to score that sweet long-range shot on your unsuspecting friends. Or close the distance and blast them and yourself to kingdom come.

4. Stack abilities

Last player, first pick. Choose an ability for yourself, these stack; Drill rocket + Triple + Triple = 6 Drills! Our cards introduce cool new weapons, passives, upgrades, and endless build possibilities.

5. How do I win?

Make your friends touch the water. In the future water is poison, even if these were frogs, which they are obviously cows.
