About

In Flint, player progression is measured through survival mastery, resource efficiency, and leaderboard rankings. Players begin with minimal tools, relying on basic foraging and rock-throw hunting to survive the cold. As they advance, they unlock improved crafting recipes—spears from feathers, larger campfires, and gliders for extended travel—each enabling deeper exploration of the Frosthorn Wastes. Environmental hazards intensify with distance, introducing stronger predators, harsher weather, and dwindling resources.

Progression is non-linear but skill-driven: players choose between safer, resource-rich hunting zones or pushing forward to achieve leaderboard objectives in Longest Survival, Farthest Distance Travelled, and Fastest Frosthorn Conquest. Death resets the run, but acquired knowledge, refined tactics, and mastery of biome patterns lead to longer, more efficient expeditions.
